Benefit Summary
Turner Designs offers team members an attractive, comprehensive benefit program.

PAID HOLIDAYS

There are a total of ten (10) paid holidays a year. As part of these 10 Turner Designs normally observes seven (7) holidays during the year.
  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Friday following Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

When one of the above holidays falls on a Saturday, it normally will be observed on the preceding Friday; if one falls on Sunday it normally will be observed on the following Monday.

In addition to the above designated holidays, you receive three (3) floating holidays each year. Two of these floating holidays are used during the winter shutdown - December 25 through January 1. One of these floating holidays may be used at employee's discretion. Holidays cannot be carried over to the next year.

VACATION

Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid vacation time. Vacation is accrued per pay period starting from your date of hire. Part-time regular employees are eligible for paid vacation time on a pro-rated basis. Immediately upon hire, you will earn vacation at the rate of 4.62 hours each pay period, up to a maximum of 15 days each year. After five years, you will earn vacation at the rate of 5.39 hours each pay period, up to a maximum of 17.5 days each year. After seven years, you will earn vacation time at the rate of 6.16 hours each pay period, up to a maximum of 20 days each year. After 20 years, you will earn vacation time at the rate of 7.70 hours each pay period, up to a maximum of 25 days each year. Part-time regular employees will receive vacation on a pro-rated basis.

Vacation time may be carried over to the following year up to a maximum of 240 hours for 0 - 5 years of service, 280 hours for 5 - 7 years of service, 320 hours for 7 - 20 years of service and 400 hours for 20 years of service and over. Employees will be paid earned, but unused, vacation days upon termination.

SICK TIME

Full-time employees are eligible for paid sick days. Sick time is accrued per pay period starting from your date of hire.

Eligible employees will earn sick days at a rate of 2.47 each pay period, up to a maximum of eight (8) days each year. Employees will not be paid for unused sick days. However, if you do not use your sick days during the year, you may carry them into the following year. The total accrual of sick days may not exceed 30 days (240 hours). Part-time regular employees accrue sick time on a pro-rated basis. Employees will not be paid for earned but unused sick days upon termination.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Team members working at least 30 hours a week are eligible for health insurance. Plans include:
  • A minimum of 3 health plans that include an H S A (health savings plan) PPO (preferred provider) and HMO (health maintenance).
